Borough Councillor for Fillongley
Les has lived locally since leaving the RAF in 1963. Les is Chairman of the Community & Environment board and a member of both the Local Development Framework Sub-Committee and the a Executive Board.
The threat of the current appeal at Daw Mill would bring a huge number of HGVs to our area going through roads which do not have the suitable infrastructure to sustain it. Along with Craig Tracey, local MP in North Warwickshire, Les brought Communities Secretary Eric Pickles to Fillongley and Daw Mill so local residents and action groups could explain our concerns directly to him. Les will continue to stand up for residents.
Our green belt and countryside are also currently at risk. Les backed residents by speaking out against the development in Eastlang Road. Conservatives voted to throw the proposals out.
