The North Warwickshire and Bedworth Conservatives have officially announced their list of candidates for the upcoming local Borough Council elections on the 4th May.
The Conservatives have confirmed total of 33 candidates will be standing across 16 wards. The local team has been campaigning across the borough ahead of the election, with the Conservatives aiming to retain majority control of North Warwickshire Borough Council.
Current Councillors Les Smith, Judy MacDonald and Brian Moss will be standing down at the election, but all the other sitting Conservative Councillors will be standing for re-election.

North Warwickshire Borough Council is currently made up of 21 Conservative Councillors, 13 Labour Councillors and 1 Independent Councillor. The Leader of the Council is Councillor David Wright, the Deputy Leader is Councillor David Reilly.
Voters are being reminded of the need to bring photo ID to the polling station to be able to vote in person in local elections on 4 May, after new legislation was introduced by the government.
