Local Member of Parliament, Craig Tracey is looking for North Warwickshire’s next budding Entrepreneurs by hosting Small Business Clinic in Conjunction with Lloyds Bank.
The event is open to people of all ages across North Warwickshire and will provide free help and guidance for anyone who is looking to take that first tentative step in to being self-employed or is maybe looking to grow their current business. Advice will be available on a wide range of topics from “How do I start”, to writing a business plan, scaling up or even negotiating contracts. Joining the MP, a former small business owner himself, will be representatives from the banks Business Managers team as well as representatives from the Small Business Commissioners office and Coventry and Warwickshire Growth Hub.
As Craig said, “I know how daunting it can be to take that first step into working for yourself and access to advice was something I wish I had available to me. It simply wasn’t around when I started, or if it was, I certainly didn’t know how to access it - there was a lot of trial and error!”
“What we want to achieve with this event is giving local people the opportunity to talk to someone about their ideas, wherever they are in the process, in a familiar environment and potentially provide a stepping stone to those becoming a reality. Having seen the business talent across the region during my time in Parliament, who is to say that the next undiscovered James Dyson or Cath Kidston doesn’t live in North Warwickshire?”
“The Small Business Clinic is on Friday 11th October at Atherstone Library, Long Street, Atherstone, CV9 1AX. Drop in any time between 1pm & 3pm - appointments are not required.”
