Craig Tracey MP and Cllr Damon Brown were pleased to officially open the new extension to Loades Ecoparc on Blackhorse Road, Exhall last week. The Loades brothers, Rob and Tony, whose company has been established in the area for over 70 years, have demonstrated their ongoing commitment to high tech business and enterprise in Bedworth by building an extension to their Ecoparc.
Craig Tracey MP said, “This is a fantastic addition to the Bayton Road area which provides world leading facilities for exactly the type of businesses we need to encourage to provide high quality jobs for Bedworth residents. I am very impressed with the success of the Ecoparc so far and the benefits it has already brought to Bedworth.”
Cllr Brown said, “I was delighted to be able to attend the opening of the latest phase in the Loades EcoParc success story. I recall attending the opening of the first phase a few years ago and seeing the stunning high tech units for the first time. The new phase units are equally impressive and a welcome addition to the Bayton Road area. It’s great to see high quality jobs and premium units coming to this area – it’s just what Bedworth needs.”
The enlarged complex houses individual units, constructed using state-of-the-art, environmentally friendly techniques including solar panels and electric vehicle charging points. The extension effectively double the size of Loades Ecoparc and offers two units totalling around 15,000 sq.ft.
Rob Loades gave further details about this exciting development: “Whilst being designed also for logistics companies we hope to be able to attract high technology engineering and manufacturing companies to our new facilities, with the resultant addition of high quality jobs. We hope, also, that the cutting-edge design and advanced eco qualifications of these new business units will be a welcome boost to the local area and help to raise standards to world class levels.”
