Craig Tracey, North Warwickshire's MP recently visited Curdworth to celebrate the official opening of the 'new look' Post Office and General Store.
The owners, Mr Amarjit Singh Nazran and Mrs Kulvinder Kaur Nazran together with their family took over the Post Office when they moved to Curdworth in March 2017. They soon saw the potential it has as a main Post Office and so set about an ambitious and extensive refurbishment that has resulted in a superb facility for Curdworth and surrounding areas. An additional bonus is that the Post Office now provides full banking services.
At the opening Craig Tracey said that he was delighted to see such a major investment improving the local community.
The Local MP commented: "Amarjit and Kulvinder have done a marvellous job with the refurb of the post office. It's an important resource for local residents and I wish them all the best."
Curdworth Parish Council stated: 'We are delighted with the village's newly refurbished Post Office and Convenience Store, giving the premises a totally fresh and updated look. It is a very valuable community asset which provides local people with a vital facility. We wish the Nazram family every success with their Business going forward'.
