Local Conservative Borough councillors Mark Jones and Stacey Ingram have today announced that they intend to begin a consultation on extending and improving the provision of CCTV in the Coleshill area.
The consultation will look at how CCTV coverage across the local area can be improved and will involve meetings with local residents and other representatives, as well as working with council officials to ensure that any proposals guarantee value for money for local taxpayers.
Councillor Jones and Councillor Ingram said: “We are pleased to announce that following a pledge made before the election on May 7th, we will be launching a public consultation on CCTV provision in our local area. We believe that it is important that local residents get a say in how their council tax is spent on crime prevention locally.”
